Community First, and other mutuals, have provided community banking for many years, and our long standing business model has a proud 62 year legacy. It’s a small but natural evolution in our name, but we’re still more connected, and more committed than ever before. We take a look at some of the subtle changes you might have noticed over recent months to our brand while focusing on some of the ways we’ve been working on uplifting our services for members.

Our evolving footprint

You’ll notice we’ve used our ‘Community First Bank’ brand on places like our website and the signage on our stores such as Gorokan, Liverpool and Erina. If you’re on the Central Coast, why not drop by our newest store at The Platinum Building, 4 Ilya Avenue, Erina and say hi. Over time, as our store network evolves, we plan on rolling out more Community First Bank branded stores. The locations may shift, the spaces will improve but one thing that won’t change is our genuine focus on people helping people.

Our new mobile app launched in June also reflects the Community First Bank brand and highlights just another way we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to
continuously improve our services.

The new app lets you manage your money on the go and stay in control of your money, with new improvements like the ability to view pending transactions, access redraw, easily access payment receipts and more.

We’re planning on rolling out new releases to continue to improve the app over the coming months and are excited that members can look forward to new features and greater convenience. We’re also getting ready to roll out a new way to pay called PayTo, which will enable members to pre-authorise payment arrangements in the form of real-time direct debits.

The use of the term ‘bank’ in our brand is a natural, planned evolution however rest assured, our focus on members as a mutual financial organisation remains unwavering. Whilst we may change the name a little, rest assured that we will continue to act only in 
our members best interests and will continue to provide you great service now and in years to come.
